The Creek is Flowing!

It's been a long dry summer and we were wondering if we were going to see McLeod Creek (a tributary of the Blackwood) flow at all this year. The creek generally flows through Birnamwood from early July through until about November. However, this year - nothing!

Then suddenly, just a couple of weeks back, it started to bucket down and the creek is now back to full strength. The view in the above photograph shows the creek flowing over "Henry's Ford" - otherwise known as Kristen's crossing.
